Juan Esteban Ugarriza , Colombia , District 4280

Juan Esteban received his Bachelor's degree in Social Communication and Journalism from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín , Colombia . During his studies, Juan Esteban had opportunities to work in local broadcasting, economics-focused journalism, and internet editing for the magazine industry. In 2001, he was selected to work with the United Nations on the General Assembly sessions on Refugees and HIV/AIDS. Juan Esteban is currently working as an International Affairs Journalist for El Colombiano newspaper. Upon completion of the program, Juan Esteban hopes to work in international communications and conflict resolution.
